Summerbridge is an international non-profit organization dedicated to making education opportunities available to children over the summer school break. Looking for a cost-effective solution to their direct mail fundraising needs, in the summer of 2001, they contacted Syzygy Productions for some ideas. A student had produced an excellent feature video on the program, but the cost of dublicating and distributing that video on tape was well beyond their specified budget for the project. Syzygy Productions was able to convert the video to a digital format and create a Digital Business Card piece, complete with auto-run capabilities, that could be mailed for the same cost as a postcard. The fundraising campaign was a success, and in the fall of 2002, Syzygy Productions supplied Summerbridge's New York office with a second Digital Business Card containing a different video presentation for another fundraising campaign.
