When the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre was under construction in 2006/2007 they were faced with a dilemma; how to present a theater that did not yet exist to potential performers and guests? The answer – 3d. Syzygy Productions was charged with creating a photo-realistic video tour of the facility that could be used to generate sponsorships and bookings before construction was even complete. Working closely with the architects, engineers, and planning committee that were managing the project we were able to do just that, producing three separate Maya generated videos with original music scores and voiceover narration that brought the theater to life for all to see more than a year before its physical completion.
